1. What this is. whoiskingnow.com is an entertainment service. By paying, you purchase a symbolic digital entry: your name takes the throne of 'King of the World' on a public list, and you receive a numbered digital certificate. Exactly 999 certificates exist, numbered in countdown from 999 to 1. No physical or financial reward exists or is promised — you buy a moment of glory and a permanent place in the list.
2. Fixed price per number, one buyer at a time. Every certificate number has its own fixed price: No. 999 costs $6, and each lower number costs exactly $1 more, up to No. 4 at $1001. All prices are in US dollars. Only the cheapest available certificate is on sale, and only one person can be at the checkout at any moment. When you start the payment, that number is reserved for you for 90 seconds; if you do not complete the payment in time, the reservation is cancelled, the payment session is voided and the number returns to the pool. After a completed purchase the new King is guaranteed 1 minute on the throne before the next certificate goes on sale. THE FINAL THREE — Certificates No. 3, No. 2 and No. 1 — are never sold through the standard mechanism: they are reserved for separate Final Auctions announced on this site, and after the game ends they will remain the featured profiles of the site. When Certificate No. 1 is finally assigned, the last King reigns permanently.
3. Payments are final — no refunds. All payments are voluntary, final and NON-REFUNDABLE, in any case and for any reason, including being dethroned. By checking the consent box, you expressly request immediate performance of the service (instant publication of your entry and instant delivery of your digital certificate) and acknowledge that you thereby LOSE YOUR RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL pursuant to Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU and corresponding national laws on digital content supplied immediately.
4. Being dethroned is part of the game. The King of the World is the holder of the lowest certificate number sold. Anyone can take a lower number after you and become King. Your certificate and its number stay yours forever regardless. Being dethroned is never grounds for a refund, complaint or chargeback.
5. Your public data. The name/pseudonym, optional full name, optional photo or image, optional Royal Message, optional social handles and links (TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube, website) and country flag you provide are displayed publicly, including on your certificate and on its public page at whoiskingnow.com/k/<number>, which is designed to be shared and remains online after you are dethroned. The email address collected at checkout is used to deliver your certificate and service messages; it is never displayed publicly. Do not submit names or handles you have no right to use. Offensive, unlawful or impersonating entries may be edited or hidden without refund.
6. Chargebacks. Fraudulent chargebacks on a service you received (public listing and delivered certificate) will be disputed with full evidence, including your express waiver of the right of withdrawal.
7. Minimum age. You must be 18 or older to pay.
